This pure handloom Kanjivaram silk saree is woven in a classic contrast of a deep green body paired with a brick-red border and pallu. The main body is accentuated by spaced circular motifs rendered in gold zari. The structural border features a horizontal band of stylized floral creepers. The pallu is joined to the body using the traditional korvai join, before transitioning into a rigorous vaira kattam (diamond grid) pattern in gold zari, and concludes with an unornamented brick-red blouse.
